mount fuji
Mount Fuji is one of the most beautiful natural sites in Japan. It is known for its almost perfect symmetry. It is the highest point in Japan at 12,388 feet.If you are an experienced climber, you could climb the mountains with all your friends. You can also rent a house at the bottom and look at the beautiful view every morning with petty somei yoshinos (pink tree in picture).
Arashiyama
Arashiyama is a bamboo forest out of Kyoto, Japan. It has many spices of monkey that people, at certain times, can even feed them. They even have their own monkey park inside the forest. There are over 170 monkeys that live there. It is located on a small mountain near the Oi river.
jogasaki coast
Jogasaki Coast is on the Izo Peninsulas eastern shore and is a beautiful section of the coastline. There are hiking trails for 10 kilometers and cliffs and stone formations on the edge. On the trail, there is a suspension bridge close to a lighthouse and observation deck.
takachiho gorge
Takachiho Gorge is a narrow gorge cut by the Gokase River. The cliffs of the gorge were made by volcanic basalt and look like scales of a dragon. In part of the gorge, there is a 17 meter tall waterfall. You can rent boats or walk a hiking trail along the gorge. There is also a freshwater aquarium, a stocked fishing pond, and a restaurant to eat at.
akiyoshido cave
This is the longest and biggest limestone cave in Japan at 9 kilometers long. It has paved paths and is easy to find your way. The cave has underground limestone pools and waterfalls. There is an adventure path for an extra 300 yen (2 USD) to get better views of the cave.
